Summer Camp 2018・サマーキャンプ2018
Due to typhoons, the length of the camp was shortened to only two days but these two days were packed with excitement, adventure and learning experiences!
台風の関係でキャンプが短くなり2日間だけになったが、
その短い間学ぶチャンス、にわくわくする経験、刺激的な体験が沢山できました！
This was our first Summer Camp and all the staff were excited. Day’s and indeed weeks had been spent preparing to make the event an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike.
今回が小学校初めてのサマーキャンプで職員の皆が楽しみしていました。
このキャンプが子どもにっとて、大人にとっても忘れられない経験になるように、
何日間、何週間も準備をしてきました。
I think we succeeded!

We were aiming for four days, and planning to build on the various programs day after day. The weather meant we had to shorten the camp which limited what we could do but even so the children were able to get a good sense of what “Mori no Sho Gakko – Tosa Jiyu Gakko” aims to achieve. We constantly aim to give our students the stimulation they need from their educators and school environment, to both motivate them and also allow them to motivate themselves to develop the urge to learn about their world and discover the joy of learning.
当初は4日間の予定で、毎日様々なプログラムを重ねていくつもりでした。
悪天候のため期間が短くなったにもかかわらず、
子供たちは、森の小学校・とさ自由学校の目指している目標を体験できたと思います。
我々職員は、子供たちが教育の現場から世界に対する興味をもち、
自ら学ぼうとする動機付けと、子どもの内側からやる気が湧いてくるような
必要な刺激を与えていくことを、常に意図しています。
